高一年级科技学院学生与剑桥大学学生展开交流

2019年4月9日下午四点，高一年级科技学院全体同学和人文及理工学院部分同学，在吴主任、科技学院徐老师、赵老师、顾老师的带领下，在艺术楼三楼阶梯教室，与来自英国剑桥大学圣约翰学院的六位同学进行了交流会。此次交流共分为三个阶段。

第一阶段，由高一S2班王皓同学和高一S3班张宇航同学作为学生代表为向剑桥大学的师生进行介绍。他们介绍了中国的习俗、北京第二十中学和它的特色以及中国的教育体系。通过他们的解说，让外国友人更为了解中国，更能体会到中国的魅力所在。

第二阶段，来自剑桥大学圣约翰学院的六位学生，为我们详细的介绍了英国严谨而多样化的考试制度和英国高校的学习生活。这仿佛为同学们开启了另一扇大门，在他们心中埋下了小小的种子。

第三阶段，参与讲座的学生将自己所不解的问题向来自剑桥大学的学生提问，成为了同学们的引路人。

最后双方老师简单进行总结，并期待着未来两校可以带动两市甚至两国进行更加深入的交流和研讨，愿中英双方友谊长存。

一个小时的交流虽短，但同学们感受颇深。

Today I fortunately attended a meeting which could communicate with students from St. John’s college,University of Cambridge. First,a girl from s1 introduced something about China to those foreign students,such as geographical environments, traditions and so on.In addition,she also told more about our school.Then another boy explained the college entrance examinations to them.After that,six foreign students shared their experience on study.They not only worked hard to get good grades,but also developed their hobbies.From their speech, I knew the importance of taking activities actively for it can shows a person’s attitude in life.And they also told us something about the interview.They said making mistakes doesn’t matter,but how you face them is the real test.I learn a lot from the meeting.

From this exchange activity, I think the most important thing is that people should have dreams. Dream is our bridge to success. From the speeches of several excellent students, we can easily find that they all made their dreams clear in middle school. The earlier the dream is established, the closer we are to achieving it.

Today is April 9th，six students from St John's College, Cambridge came to our school and I am glad to attended the meeting for conversation.First,our student from S college gave us a speach,let us and the Cambridge students know Beijing No.20 high school,Chinese culture and Gao Kao.St John's College is the best college in Cambridge，from the conversation between the six students and our school students，we can easily find that life is not easy.If you want to have a better life ，you need to make a plan，such as the to do list.You'd better set a goal for yourself. From this activity,we know what is A level text and what to do if we want to go to Cambridge.It was meaningful and it impressed me a lot.

Today we have received six British students from St. John's College, Cambridge University.Studying at Cambridge University is a dream many people dream of.We are very excited.We shared with them our unique Chinese culture and the characteristics of our school. They listened with great interest.They also shared their major with us and told us about their life at Cambridge University. Make our classmates yearn for Cambridge University more.Some students also asked them about their learning methods and what subjects they should study in the future.They also answered our questions seriously, and we benefited a lot.Today let's look forward to our future study and life.

On Tuesday afternoon ,Students from st. John's college, Cambridge came to Beijing no. 20 middle school to communicate with us.After this combination of the western and eastern culture.I am deeply impressed by the difference between China's education system and Britain's.The educational system is strongly linked to the social environment. Besides,Through the foreign friends' explanation, I also learned about the British school life,it was quite funny.All in all,there is no national separation of effort, we can choose the life we want as long as we work hard.

Feelings of the students’ welcome meeting at St John’s College, Cambridge University  This afternoon, we attended meeting which is to welcome the students at St John’s College,Cambridge University. I think this meeting was very useful that will play a key role in my future high school life which taught me a lot. As one of the Cambridge student said: don’t be afraid to make mistakes because making mistakes is not a bad thing. On the other hand, as long as you can learn something from the mistake, you can also benefit greatly. What’s more, a person should be young to determine their ideals and make unremitting efforts, only in the way can become the person who you dreamed successfully and not regret for the time passed.

Today we have a meeting with the six students from St John' College University of Cambridge. We all have a happy time together and I knew about the college entrance examination in their country and learnt from the foreign friends. From the word they said, I know that when you take the entrance examination in the UK, the examiner will pay more attention to the way you think and they want know your views on a certain issue. Most of them realized their dream vary early and pursue it by studying the related knowledge. They pay effort on the subject they chose while developing their other abilities such as dancing, singing, painting and so on. There is so much difference between China and UK.
